Apparently, there was no one to promote it, so a very good album disappeared almost entirely unheard.Īs William Ruhlmann from AllMusic once reviewed:Ĭindy Bullens exhibited an unfortunate talent for hooking up with record companies that were on the way out, starting with United Artists and continuing with the classic '70s boom-and-bust label, Casablanca, a year later. Bullens both sings and lays down some tough guitar riffs with real attitude. With the exception of "Too Close To Home" the other nine tracks are self penned. This time Bullens co-produced "Steal The Night" with lead guitarist Mark Doyle. She signed with Casablanca when the label was close to self destructing. Cindy Bullens didn't have much luck with record companies.
